Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: [18/08/2025]
1. Purpose of Donations
All items listed on this website represent essential products needed for the operation and maintenance of the National Kidney Support Centre (the ‘Centre’). Your purchase is considered a donation to the Irish Kidney Association (the ‘IKA’) for the benefit of the Centre and the people it supports. You are not buying goods for personal use and all references to purchases by you in these Terms will be considered donations. Donors under 18 must obtain parental/guardian consent before contributing.
2. Use of Funds
The IKA is committed to using donations effectively. Donations will be used by the IKA to purchase and deliver essential items for the Centre. If an item’s cost is less than the listed price, excess funds will be directed toward the ongoing maintenance and operational costs of the Centre as determined by the IKA.
If the renovation project is fully funded or cannot proceed as planned for any reason, donations will be redirected to similar essential services supporting kidney patients.
3. Product Representation, Pricing & Availability
Images and descriptions are for illustrative purposes only. Actual items purchased for the Centre may vary slightly in brand, appearance, size, or specification, based on availability, cost efficiency and changing needs at the time of procurement. Listed prices are estimates. The IKA may substitute items with alternatives of comparable benefit and value to the Centre.
Some items may have already been purchased before your donation is processed. In such cases, your donation will cover the cost of similar items or other essential needs for the Centre.
